the media is COMPLETELY biased and liberal. Fox news is the only partially fair broadcast.
Care2 Friday Rant and Rave - Sept. 26
|
Heather and Eric at Care2 give their weekly Rant and Rave for stuff they liked and stuff they didn't. This week's rant--it's the economy, stupid. (or rather the nature of the government bailout) and the rave . . . to the media for doing the rare feat --asking tough questions and refusing to be bullied by the McCain Campaign.

yeh, well you're an idiot, too--because you can't even tell that whoever proposed this "dividend" for Americans can't even do a simple math equation!
85,000,000,000 (85 billion) divided by 200,000,000 (200 million) = $425.00, NOT $425,000!!!
goes to show just how STUPID anyone is who thinks any kind of wealth distribution (getting something for nothing) is a good idea! (AKA SOCIALISM)
No, we should NOT bail them out--but at the same time giving people "free money" is wrong, too, and not a sound economic answer.
needless to say, you're probably a Barack oSama supporter...
they should make people like you take tests before being allowed to vote.
the only good candidate we have out there is Palin.

Something to think about? ????
I will be sending this to both candidate's "camps" to see if I can get
comments. I don't know if you'd like to do the same, but here are the
e-mail addresses just in case. (info@barackobama.com and
info@johnmccain.com) To me this seems like an extremely logical way
to fix the American (not necessarily the Wall Street) economy!
Food for thought...
Here is a PLAN to embrace for every American from an American. Too
bad our elected officials are not creative thinkers like this guy.
THE BIRK ECONOMIC RECOVERY PLAN:
Hi Pals,
I'm against the $85,000,000,000.00 bailout of AIG.
Instead, I'm in favor of giving $85,000,000,000 to America in
a "We Deserve It Dividend".
To make the math simple, let's assume there are 200,000,000
bonafide U.S. Citizens 18+.
Our population is about 301,000,000 +/- counting every man, woman
and child. So 200,000,000 might be a fair stab at adults 18 and up..
So divide 200 million adults 18+ into $85 billon that equals $425,000.00.
My plan is to give $425,000 to every person 18+ as a
"We Deserve It Dividend".
Of course, it would NOT be tax free.
So let's assume a tax rate of 30%.
Every individual 18+ has to pay $127,500.00 in taxes.
That sends $25,500,000,000 right back to Uncle Sam.
But it means that every adult 18+ has $297,500.00 in their pocket.
A husband and wife has $595,000.00.
What would you do with $297,500.00 to $595,000.00 in your family?
Pay off your mortgage - housing crisis solved.

Considering this is a liberal Obama website, it is obvious that McCain will be vilified. It has also been obvious the media has not been condescending or tough on Care2's candidate, he has been romanced, fawned over and given a clean break and some of the media just plain giddy in conversation. But the excessive liberal media groups including Olberman, NBC, MSNBC and the likes of Couric and Gibson have been down right rude to McCain and Palin. The only media that has been fair has been Fox. And we wonder about corruption in the economy, I guess it covers all, with the Democrats wanting a clean break everywhere, and the media gives it. I am too old to be able to tolerate this immaturity in politics, media and business. All these crooks (politicians) want to pull the wool over everyone, and vote all kinds of breaks for them selves, with earmarks, and money in the pocket from special interests, trying to stay in office so they can vote "present" and keep their status without responsibility. The media needs to ask hard questions to both party candidates, not give their favorite a break. All too obvious during this election, and what has been done to Palin is absolutely criminal, an outsider and she is vilified. Shame on you media, you need some maturity to increase your credibility!

At last, the media is listening and thinking. Will this phase last for more than a day or two? The media is supposed to ask the hard questions; to investigate what we, the ordinary citizen, has not the power to do. The media's job is to help us to understand the language spoken in govermenet and what those words REALLY mean.
