Does Florida Count?

I've been so wrapped up in national politics lately, that I practically forgot about my own state of Florida. Well, maybe it was more along the lines of selective amnesia. I'm sure you've heard...things are just not right here. The Florida primary moved up, National Democratic Committee (DNC) "punishes" Florida democrats by taking away their delegates, and the Presidential candidates vow not to come to Florida. Honestly, if you were a democrat in Florida, wouldn't you just like to forget about them too? Anyway, what's a Floridian Democrat to do??? Well, we have a lot of sand here in Florida, so burying your head in it is always an option. But don't worry, I won't recommend that. Instead, why don't we fight back the best we can? And the number one way to do that is - ignore all the National Democratic Committee Bull-Pooy and go out there on January 29th and vote for a democratic candidate. With that said, I am very disappointed in the Democratic candidates for vowing to stay out of Florida, but I'm still holding out hope that they will change their minds and come here. Listen guys (and Hillary) -- Florida isn't chump change in November. Florida could very well be the make it or break it state for you and the Dems - Do you really think when Democrats go to the polls in November they are going to forget you didn't give a hoot about them in January? Let me assure you, ignoring Florida now will be to your detriment later. If there was ever a time to "flip-flop" on a decision, now is the time.
