Hillary Clinton's Speech In Denver and Reaction To It

This race is officially Barack Obama's to win (or lose). Hillary Clinton's speech was the highlight of the convention tonight, and she hit it out of the park. I can't imagine how she could have done it any better. In case you missed it, I've included Hillary Clinton's video introduction, and her full speech. She rallied her troops and told them in no uncertain terms that they'd be wrong to vote for anyone but Barack Obama. And she did it in inspirational fashion, as far as I can see. From Let Us Talk... Everything about Senator Clinton's speech was pitch perfect. She was straight forward, to the point and compelling. She laid out issue by issue why she supports Obama and why we cannot let John McCain in the White House. From Take Back The Flag... It's time to come together, right now. The Clintons' speaches were very good and sounded sincere, hwoever I still think they hope Obama falls on his face! He stold the nomination from Hilliary and everybody knows it!

I have been a supporter of Barack Obama and am so proud of the speech that Hillary gave at the Democratic Convention. She was eloquent and brilliant. I have to say that I am sick and tired of the nonsense that these supposed Democrats are spewing. It is unbelievable to me that these people think that the rest of us Dems believe for one minute that they too are Democrats and are defecting. Get a clue and get a life. Vote for whoever you want but stop the bull. I do not nor will I support McCain because of the lies and the constant flip flopping he does. I hear him talk about his patriotism but you don't have to have been a prisoner of war to be a patriot in this country and Barack Obama is a true patriot and one I can believe in when I go to the polls in November. I would never depict myself as a disgruntled American who has chosen to go to Obama because of some concocted excuse to try to sway Republicans. The true Democrats are not going to defect because of you silly little people so get on with life...or get a life, whichever comes first for you.

Oprah has backed Obama before 2000, they are both members of the same church- That church is racist, opposite to the kkk, but worst! Proof on youtube! Oprah produced the Movie "The great Debater" with Denzel Washington and Timed the movie to hit when Hillary was campiagning - that aided in 92 percent of all black voters to vote for Obama. I once had great respect for Hilliary, but after what she did at the DNC- I am sorry I have no respect for her or Bill Con!- THEY sold out! Her debt is paid at our expense.
I will never again vote for her NEVER! SHE CANNOT BE TRUSTED! After hearing her words Obama is ready, blah, blah, A freshman senator with no expericence, and a backgroud such as his. HE WAS NOT EVEN A GOOD SENATOR! NEVER VOTED ON THE ISSUES AND STILL TOOK HOME A 400,000 THOUSAND DOLLAR PAYCHECK! WE DO NOT NEED MORE OF SAME IN CONGRESS LIKE JOE BIDEN - FOUR YEARS - NO thanks! NO BAMANATION!
I AM GIVING MY VOTE TO JOHN MCCAIN! HE FOUGHT FOR ARE FREEDOM, HIS OWN SON IS FIGHTING IN IRAQ - MCCAIN DOES NOT WANT WAR ANY MORE THEN YOU OR I DO FOR HE KNOWS FRIST HAND - OBAMA OR BILL NEVER FOUGHT FOR OUR COUNTRY! FINALLY it's VERY CLEAR! Hillary lost because (and ONLY because!) the DNC had decided LONG before this MESS called the primaries even got off the ground! The DNC decided how "neat" it would be to have a BLACK man give his acceptance speech on the VERY day MLK gave his "dream" speech! They decided to INSURE there would be a black man to do it! ALL OF THIS CHARADE OF VOTING HAS BEEN A SHAM AND THAT IS ALL! SHAME ON THE DNC AND BO!!! HRC has PROVEN she would have and could have been a great president but NO, the DNC wanted this "HISTORIC moment" so that is how it went down. From the start of the campaign, the DNC DECIDED who would be the nominee! I am sick about all of this; no matter how ppl TRY to protray BO, he has ABSOLUTELY NO EXPERIENCE IN ANY CAPACITY AS A LEADER! Check his record and let me know just where and when HE has LED anything except his campaign! And he wants to be president of the most powerful country in the world??? Show me his credentials! I DARE YOU! All he had was a SPEECH! Granted it was a good speech but in my opinion, it takes a hell of a lot more than a speech to run a country! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE??? The dems had the BEST chance to win the WH IF they picked HRC as the VP. Now they will loose and America WILL LOOSE! HOW DARE THEY DO THIS TO US! SHE STRICK A DEAL AND HER 20 MILLION DOLLAR DEBT IS PAYED. I WILL NEVER SUPPORT THIS WOMEN AGAIN. SHE IS AN ENBRASSMENT TO ALL WOMEN! WAKE UP CAN'T YOU SEE A CON! The democrats will stoop at nothing! As I watched Obama’s convention and then Hillary’s speech NOW SUPPORTING HIM, I felt like throwing up! Then Bill Clinton’s speech NOW SUPPORTING HIM! It is a well-known fact that Bill hated Obama and Oprah. Her and Bill sold out to pay Hillary’s 20 million dollar debt that she owes to the Democratic Party. How low can one go! JOE BIDEN IS a CROOK WITH 36 YEARS IN CONGRESS and when he ran for president at the primaries he received less that 2 percent of the votes. Then OBAMA PICKS HIM AS A RUNNING MATE…HILLARY HAD TO EAT SHIT TO PAY BACK HER DEBT! I have no respect for this woman what so ever and take a good look at Bill Con.
Obama is a non-voting Illinois freshman senator- the only accomplishments he achieved is with the black community and of course his racist church of over 20 years… As a senator, he was not doing his job! How can people be that stupid not to check his voting records? I cannot believe this has gone this far, since when is congress a Hollywood production! Wasteful government spending, most expensive campaigning in the history of congress between Obama and Hillary. Their won’t be any CHANGE IN MY POCKET LEFT!

Hillary proved once again she should have been the dem. presidential nominee. Her speech rocked & she as always. did it with class, compassion & sincerety. She has shown her courage in the face of much disappointment. The Democratic party & media did her a terrible injustice & one that will be felt by women for some time to come. Now the press & pundits say she didn't do enough. She has done more than any candidate ever has done & she received more votes than any other candidate has ever received. If she were a man no one would say enough hasn't been done. She has held fund raisers of good proportions for Obama yet the Obama camp has not helped her retire her own debt. The American people should wake up. If Obama loses in November will that too be Hillary's fault? Obama has not been able to reach the people he needs the most & Hillary has done her best to help him do that but getting them into his camp is his responsibility and not hers. His VP pick Sen. Biden is a great guy & good person however he said Obama is not ready to be president. Now only a few months later he says he is. Hmmm what pray tell has given Obama so much experience in the past few months to make him now qualified. Our country faces so many problems due to the Bush Administration the past 8 years. Bush also was a man of little experience. Guess we are supposed to overlook the inexperience factor again & hope & pray the OJT doesn't take too long.

What I thought was most powerful was that she wasn't just speaking to her own supporters (and she did speak to them passionately), she spoke to Obama supporters too. I think what was accomplished was *not* just bringing the Hillary supporters over to Obama, she managed to bring hardcore Obama supporters over to her. It was graceful, forceful, and exactly what the party needed. True party unity.
