the interviewer didn't ask questions that would help us to decide whether Palin is or will be a good leader. She asked only rote memory type questions.

I think McCain was wise in trying to keep Palin away from the media as much as possible. She can't even give a straight forward answer to the softest of questions. Yesterday, I saw more of Katie Couric's interview with her. Katie asked her the rather simple question about what newspapers and magazines she read. She said "All of them" !?!? Katie tried to get her to name just one and she wouldn't do it. The more I hear from Palin herself, the less I am willing to vote for McCain and I was initially leaning toward him before the convention. Considering that about one third of VPs become President, one has to seriously consider who you would vote for if Palin was the presidential candidate instead of McCain.

UHm..ok...is this hnestly what American politics are coming to? Sara Palin? Really though..this woman..no disrespect, but this woman is a puppet-she is clueless...I mean, to the point where her own party doesn't take her seriously-nor should they..I am at my wits end, just watching this person suck the air out of a room..people, she did say one thing that rang clear-WAKE UP!!!If you put the future of America in the hands of republicans, not only is the whole world laughing, but they are laughing at us...we did not come this far, to go allow ourselves to..TO FALL SO FAR. Hallelujiah, Steve, and amen! I didn't see the interview on TV but I did see it online along with SNL spoofs. I haven't stopped laughing because I can't tell the difference between the SNL skits and the real interview. And when I do stop laughing, I'm going to start crying because people like Charlene are going to for her. I normally respect other people's opinions and listen to what they are saying, but I she's not saying anything.

At least she didn't call her "Charlie..." Holy God - this can't be real. It's like a really bad skit come to life - our taxpaying lives. How remarkably awful for our nation to have this person traveling ANYWHERE and speaking as a governor cum VP candidate.

Anyone who thinks that Katie was unfair with her questions needs to REALLY reevaluate your mind. She asked GOOD, HONEST, HARD HITTING questions about her stances and past. We have no idea what Palin knows or can do!! It's about time we really see how much INexperience she has. If McCain were to die and she became President...I would fear for all of the US. We've come so far in civil rights and tolerance, and I see the McCain/Palin ticket as a beacon of intolerance, oppression, and corruption. Just because they are "Christian" they all of a sudden have the right to tell others how to live their lives. What kind of hypocrisy is that? We've seen what a Republican ruled administration can do for 6 years straight. Now Congress can't even pass a bill there's so much fighting. What else can they mess up? We've lost our standing in the world morally, we've gone into a recession and financial crisis, we've gotten into a war, people have been kicked out of their homes, and now they want ANOTHER 4 years? You've got to be kidding me! I can't believe people are so blind to see the McCain is NOT a reformer. He has the exact same mentality and policies as Bush. Look at his voting record at VoteSmart! By picking Palin as his VP, he has proven that he cannot make a sound decision for the life of him unless it gets him political gain. Wake up people! Obama made the right decision by picking Biden who has been on the Foreign Relations Committee. Obama '08 if you really want this country saved!

Try reading "The End of America" by Naomi Wolf for starters and then "The Late Great USA". Ron Paul seemed to be very aware of what is happening to our rights in this country...........they are dissappearing....
