Supreme Court Issues Ruling on Gun Control

June 26, 2008 - Posted by Catherine Morgan

The Supreme Court has issued a ruling on gun control. What do you think about this ruling? Let me know in comments.

From Eric at Coldheartedtruth...
A collective cheer is erupting from all gun owners today as the Supreme Court struck down Washington D.C.'s ineffective gun ban (District of Columbia v. Heller) as unconstitutional. The decision was 5-4, with Scalia, Roberts, Alito, Thomas, and Kennedy in the majority; and Stevens, Breyer, Souter and Ginsburg in the minority. Scalia wrote the ruling.

For those of you that haven't been following the case as closely as I have, here is a little background information. (read full post here)

Supreme Court Fianlly OK's Gun Rights...
I've been pretty irritated by how corrupt and useless Washington has been for, well, a very long time.

But today, I am proud of our Government, if only a tiny bit.

Oddly, I don't own any guns, but feel the need to buy one now.

What do you think about this ruling on gun control?
