Why Does The McCain Campaign Want To Convince You To Be Scared of Obama?

Is the McCain campaign having it's cake and eating it too? Are they for or against calling Barack Obama a terrorist? Do they think the only way they can win, is to scare the voting public into thinking Obama is not a true American?

Did you ever wonder who started the rumors about Obama? If so, here is a very interesting article in the New York Times - The Man Behind the Whispers About Obama...

The most persistent falsehood about Senator Barack Obama's background first hit in 2004 just two weeks after the Democratic convention speech that helped set him on the path to his presidential candidacy: "Obama is a Muslim who has concealed his religion."

That statement, contained in a press release, spun a complex tale about the ancestry of Mr. Obama, who is Christian.

The press release was picked up by a conservative Web site, FreeRepublic.com, and spread steadily as others elaborated on its claims over the years in e-mail messages, Web sites and books. It continues to drive other false rumors about Mr. Obama’s background.

This one really takes the cake. I'm no theologian, and I won't claim to know what God is thinking. But, I'm just going to take a wild guess here, and assume God doesn't like this kind of thing very much.

Is this guy kidding? Did he just threaten God? When did this election become a war between the good Gods and the bad Gods? Personally...I think there are good people and bad people, not good Gods and bad Gods. What do you think?

On the lighter side...

I'm not afraid of Obama...I'm afraid of any candidate that wants to run this country the way he wants to. I know no one candidate is perfect, but voting is about electing the candidate that BEST represents what you believe in. No one candidate is ever going to satisfy every one of my beliefs or opinions, but they won't do it for anyone. If people truly believe what comes out of Obama's mouth, then let them. That is their choice, and that is what democracy is all about.

I do not get my information from political campaign ads. I'm too smart for that. I actually get my information from a lot of different sources to try to get all sides of the equation and base my opinion from there. Anyone who is making their decision based on what one camp is saying about the other is completely naive.

Educate yourselves and make an INFORMED decision! Whoever you vote for.

I believe that Mc Cain's statements about Obama are testaments to his desperation as the presidency slips further and further from his reach. His only hope is to tell lies about Obama and hope people will believe them. Obama must use his remaining time to tell the truth about himself in every state in America and those who support him must tell everyone they know those same truths.

Are Todd and Sarah domestic terrorists for belonging to the radical Alaskan Independence Club that wants to succeed from the USA. They don't want to be part of the USA, but she wants to run the USA? What is wrong with this picture? Do we need her to bring her "abuse of power" into our lives? Aren't we suffering enough from "abuse of power" by the present administration?

To those who think Obama is a socialist...AMERICA has just experienced the biggest socialist takeover in history...and it's been at the hands of THE REPUBLICANS!!! Like Nationalizing banks, for example. And...control the US?? Come on...look at reality!! Just take a look at what is going on right now. The worst shape the US has been in since the great depression. It has happened at the helm of right-wing Republicans. Seems to me that those who think Obama is a socialist...when Republicans have already done to their country what they accuse Obama of planning...are doing a lot of psychological projecting. Where do these people get their glasses? Unbelievable.

I AM scared of Obama. A socialist who wants to "spread the wealth", that is scary and came direct from his mouth. The idea of an ultra-liberal who has questionable associations and questionable character and judgment is the scariest of all. I don't like the idea of being punished for wanting to expand and/or become an entrepreneur, and anyone who does will take his money and business offshore to escape his ridiculous "spread the wealth" socialist mentality. But it will happen if too many "head-in-the-sand" voters but this man into office. And with Pelosi and Reid, they will be set to control the US!

The true God really seems to have nothing to do with politics. Look at the last 8 years. God is love; he is not fear. All that we have been inclined to live by is fear and greed. My "God" would like for us all to be as healthy as we can be, have a clean and abundant planet on which to live, and peaceful unity for us all.

He does this for one and only one reason he wants to win at all costs. There is no other reason. He has nothing to offer the American people save only that he got his plane shotdown and got his self captured and was a POW for five years. Plus his he knows best attitude. I think he is more insane then George W. Bush.

This is very much in line with the Bush administration and how they hijacked the American People with fear, a manufactured fear..We are the terrorists by starting a preemptive War based on lies...Vietnam revisited!
If it was not for Oil and other minerals necessary to the West, there would be no Wars.
The Romans created their Empire on fear and brutality..They were interested in only one thing:Salt and that is how they paid their Soldiers with Salt, hence the word salary. Well, the Roman Empire is now part of history..It looks like we are going that way too.
For all these so-called Christians in America, if Jesus were to come back, he would be killed over and over by the same people who profess to live by his Word!
Shame, shame, shame on you!
