Do you remember hearing when JFK was assassinated?

Workers In Worse Shape Than They've Been In Years

On Labor Day, the news for U.S. workers is bleak. A new study by Rutgers School of Management shows that 10 percent of Americans are unemployed, that number is an increase of 25 percent from just last year. Here is more information on these labor findings, as well as video clips you may find interesting.

If you had to give the Bush administration a report card on their labor policies, what would it be? What presidential candidate do you think can make a difference in the lives of U.S. workers? Let me know in comments.

From CNN and AP...

This Labor Day finds workers in worse shape than they've been in years, according to a scorecard released Monday by Rutgers University. In its first national labor scorecard, the Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations said that more than 10 percent of Americans are unemployed, discouraged from seeking work or underemployed. That is a nearly 25 percent increase from one year earlier. Professor Douglas Kruse, a labor economist who created the scorecard, said that a sharp decline in the number of Americans able to find full-time jobs, along with growing consumer debt and health care costs, was a cause for concern.

Thanks to the Taiwanese bitch, Chao, married to probably the crookedest Senator in Congress, McConnell (R) Kentucky, the Dep't of Labor has been turned into a Corporate Country Club. ( Tell us what you want, it's yours) She and her husband should both be prosecuted in Federal Court for malfeasance in office at the same time the White House War Criminals are sent to the Hague for war crimes.

excuse me, what have we ever gotten after 8 years after republicans in the white house. always in worse shape for the working class. but this time, it is worse than i ever could have imagined it would be. when we have gone to war in the past, it boost the economy. not this one, and this one is going to cost us good. unfortunately our veterans are going to get substandard treatment for the duration of their lives. i thought it would be as bad as vietnam, maybe not in casualty numbers, but the injuries of being blown up in vietnam, they usually did not find you, or get you for treatment before you passed. this is a whole different ball of wax.
sorry in my opinion, bring our troops home, and vaporize the place and just leave the sand and bugs.

The only thing that Bush and McCain will ever do for this country is to make sure the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
