What Would You Do to Help Families in Gaza?

Imagine you are the head of an international aid agency. Your area of focus is the Middle East, a place fraught with conflict and tension, where millions of Palestinians have been displaced for decades. Obviously you are needed, but how would you prioritize your work in such a volatile place?

Below are three categories of aid to Gaza. You have one hundred percentage points to spend in total. How would you distribute these points among the three categories?

Jobs - According to the World Bank (June 2004), 64% of Gaza residents and 37% of West Bankers live under the defined poverty line of $2 per day, and unemployment hovers at 50% - 60%.

Education - In the shadow of occupation, facilities are run down and poorly equipped; the school year is interrupted for days at a time; families and schools are too poor to afford even the most basic supplies.
