The Smithsonian's new National Museum of African American History and Culture will soon break ground on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. The Museum will open its doors in 2015 to tell the stories of African Americans from the earliest days of this country right up to the election of the first African American president and beyond -- periods in the past of unimaginable pain and abuse, and proud, triumphal moments, too!
