I couldn't agree more with this. Governments around the world most certainly need to be doing so much more to fight global climate change. The current government in the United States is doing the exact opposite, threatening the USA's goals of reducing carbon emissions, restoring and preserving natural habitats, and investing in renewable energy. Other governments are having the same problems as well. We are putting so many habitats, wild floral and faunal communities, and human communities at risk of death and destruction as we continue to live lifestyles where we consume, trade via free market, and not give anything back to the environment that provides the resources and food we need to survive.

I urge all who are reading this to do everything you can to make sure rainforests and other important carbon sink habitats are preserved, that solar and wind energy installation continues to rise, and that governments are pressured by protests and globals movements to take action. It is the fossil fuel industries who are paying government officials to resist action against climate change. Fight these corporations. Hold them accountable for the damage and deception they've caused to all of us, and to wildlife who are unable to speak for themselves.
