Yes.

It's one of the (many) jobs of parents to know what is appropriate for their children at what age, to not push them into adult knowledge or behavior too soon, and to monitor what they're absorbing outside the home and from the culture at large.

It is not the job of parents to censor the culture for the rest of us.
