This would only hurt the working poor who already struggle to put gas in their car to get to work. Also the fixed income people too as well as the cost to truck food would increase so once more those who could least afford it would be the most affected. We can't do anymore to hurt those who can least absorb any additional costs. There are other ways to do this, tax the Corporations as they pay little to nothing, cars could be made to run on less, this has been a scam by the Oil Barons to prevent cars from getting better mileage. Lets get the high speed rails in, put people to work building that. Taxes only seem to end up supporting more wars and the poor and lower middle class are tired of fighting and paying for wars upon wars.

yes not only that i would do that , but the larger car you drive unless you need a mini van of some sort for kids the more tax you would pay for the gasoline, sorry my friend is a single male and he drives a huge lexus something huge... ok if he can pay for the car he can pay for the gas X amount of money .. and he is one of those selfish mean men.. not to me.. we happen to understand each other, and he agrees with me.. he doesn't want to change but he respects me and agrees with my sound point of you... but when i see how he treats some girls who by god just take all of your clothing and come closer to him then he will really "date you " not just "f...ck you" and run home... while I don't like that he treats women that way, I'm a woman while I don't judge these girls he is good looking, he is successful .. i wish I could say he is emotionally well developed, and he does treat all women with respect .. when a beautiful girl almost naked grabs his private parts ... he throws me the keys to his large car.. which I do not drive just make sure that it wont get towed, unless it will get towed that I will take it with me to my house.... I can't judge people but if someone like my friend drives this huge car he should pay taxes for me and you and the girl he took home, and all her friends.. why the car needs to be so big in the city of chicago? what's wrong with a smaller car? oh Ego... well then pay out.

Australia is already one of the most over taxed countries, with the problem being the government doesn't use our tax dollars wisely - so NO
