The risks HAVE proven to outweigh the benefits, except for the pockets of the corporations. It was to make drought proof crops. It did not. The plants now are full of chemicals that are ingrained in their cells which people eat.

They have NOT fed people in drought ridden areas as promised and the risks definitely outweigh any of the benefits.
