I see both sides to this question. I grew up going to private girls schools. Uniforms and unisex environment certainly eliminated A LOT of distraction. However, my girlfriends that went to public schools loved the distraction and had many more male friends as companions. My daughter goes to a public high school. She likes all the boys because in her words, "They are so less complicated."
