A ban on peanuts? Have they started to give them back? I miss my small fun pack of delight! Unless the person who is allergic to them has a problem, I see no reason to deny the passengers any longer. Charging for a customer service is cheap. Give us our peanuts, pillow and headphones back without a fee attached. The airlines can afford them, they just want another reason to line their pockets or cut out a cost.

Yes, there is a child in our neighborhood that goes into shock if he is even within 20-30 feet of nuts and it is something the entire neighborhood has to be aware of when our windows are open.

WTH? If you are allergic to something, just don't eat it. Labels are clearly labeled, so don't take them when offered or kindly ask for a different snack. As simple as that.

I vote yes. Being on an airplane with limited medical responses is not a place to have a life threatening allergy with something you are allergic to in close proximity. Especially since the quarters are cramped and there is a HUGE chance somebody with peanut oil on their hand can easily brush against you. Peanuts and products made in factories that handle peanuts are banned from schools. It's a little bit of a nuisance if you do not have allergies, but it's all the difference in the world if you do. This is a simple choice for me. I'd rather take a small annoyance than to risk the life of anybody.
