Sorry for the cattle, not concerned for myself (I haven't eaten animal flesh in 20 years) am concerned for family members who still eat flesh. It is called Mad Cow in animals, in humans it's called Variant Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease. We have never had a single case of this disease in humans or cattle in Australia :) however there have been 10 known cases of health care acquired CJD due to brain surgery and human pituitary extract hormone treatment for infertility.
