Most of the time, yes. I had a neighbor that would try to trap and shoot my cats once. He's dead now. Died of old age.

If you want to keep your cat alive, you will keep him/her inside. Don't forget to get them fixed as well.

I think it is safer for the cats if they are kept inside most of the time.

When I was in the UK I have always let my cats outside. Here in Canada it is a different story. I am only a 2 minute walk from a freeway and no way are they going out unless on a harness and I am taking them around the back yard (which is always a fun experience)

YES. Cats are the worst invasive species out there. They take a huge toll on native wildlife.
