....by the way I don't mean I have a stigma against people who don't have kids, but that I have noticed it....my best friend since high school is childless and tells me he feels that he is felt to be "odd" by many people.....I just know that its he likes to be an uncle to my children when they were young....

sadly yes......and its sad that in some society's it seems that, especially for women, your worth is based on how many children you have and not what kind of person you are or what you have done with your life.....

I think there is, unfairly. You can still read about women who are "unnatural" or "unfulfilled" or "missing out on the meaning of life" if they aren't mothers.

Not as much as there used to be.

I think there is probably as much if not more stigma around parents who have large families, especially when populations are increasing.
