Why use anything else? The sun is the best to dry. Turn your clothes inside out if you don't want to fade them.

There should not be a ban on anything that is environmentally friendly; and, a clothesline is just that. On a personal note, the clothes smell so fresh when they are dried outdoors, everyone should dry them outdoors.

that's ridiculous! all ive ever used is an outdoor clothing line,a lot more energy efficient. let nature do its thing,if you dont need to use a dryer then you shouldnt have to.

It's a person's own business what they do.

no, it saves energy and saves the planet (every step counts people) plus as long as its on your property, its not like a bunch of hung up clothing is hurting someone...

No, communities should not be able to do this. What a idiotic idea, that it is anyone's business what someone does with their laundry on their own property

i just had to return to this poll again. can't stop laughing over this question.

what is it about clothes line drying that these private communities are so up in arms about? someone's panties dotted along the line? or someone's up-up and awayyyy in my beautiful my beautiful BALLOON briefs swaying in the breeze?

thank you to the person who started this poll - you have given me a wonderful laugh and great smile to end my evening on.. :)

i never knew that any communities were trying to ban clothes line drying. WHEN I WAS A KID lol, i remember hanging the clothes up and attaching the clothes pins, checking them in a couple hours and taking them all down and it was a big assembly line production!

get those kids off the cell phones and make 'em do some outdoor line drying with the folks - maybe people might get to know their kids and kids might get to know their parents, etc. and we are all green - wheeee! lol
