Maybe some do, but I tried a few some years back and made myself ill, so I won't do it again. It's best to live as healthily as you can and not eat junk in the first place.

Adding deep breathing, exercise, dry skin brushing, ionic cleansing, meditation and a various assundry of herbal supplements is a sure way to get rid of some of the toxic build-up in your body.
Detoxes need to be all-natural to work, organic juicing or just plain water fasting can work wonders, but DON'T waste your money on crazy "miralce-fasts" that are probably filled with chemicals and will make you worse in the end.
