Now that we are fully aware of the dangers of second hand smoking, it should be common sense not to expose anyone, especially children to this.

What people do is none of other peoples business, cigarettes are the least of our worries as there are worse things, the only qualm I have is if the kids can't get away from the smell. If the kid doesn't like it, they should be able to leave the room.

The smoking ban in the workplace and public buildings has made many people think about where and when they smoke. I see neighbours standing outside their own homes while smoking, and now the few visitors of ours that smoke do go outside now.

I said No, only because I think that before casting judgement on people for their weaknesses, the cigarettes should be taken off the market - they have set up a double standard. Most parents realize that smoking around their children can affect their health.

There is already a punishment - It is called lung cancer and/or COPD! But they surely shouldn't be doing it

Government interference in the noncriminal act of smoking is more harmful than the second hand smoke that the children suffer with.
