What matters is the parenting skills of the person.

Depends on the character of the parent.

A good parent or parents strive to live through their children's lives, helping, supporting, nurturing, caring, loving them throughout. You can have two great parents doing everything, and their children turning out to be ungrateful, selfish, arrogant assholes, and you can have one great parent, struggling and suffering, and their children turning out to be balanced, educated, healthy. There's no right equation for this. A lot of luck can be involved as well.

Being raised by a single parent is no more unhealthy than being raised by two or three parents. The unhealthy is dependent on the mental health and abilities of the parent or parents. Two adults fighting day and night is unhealthy. One parent with good parenting skills is healthy.

Being raised in a loving, supportive environment is what's important.
