Yeah, there's way too many desperate reality shows out there. When they first came out, reality shows were very interesting, then when all the crappy ones started debuting, I just got turned off by their stupidity. For example, they have "I'm a celebrity, get me out of here!" and almost none of the so-called celebs on that show are even anywhere near the A-list. No one really cares about them and their participating in those dumb reality is just showing how desperate they've become. They just want to hold onto their 5 minutes of fame.
yes, TV is full of absolute garbage. It's total shame and waste because TV could be such a great tool for educating people about many things. Instead it is used for propaganda and mind numbing foolishness.
Does anybody here understand that The Apprentice is the BEST way to donate hundreds of thousands of dollars to charities each year, without spending a dime?
Every challenge raises a minimum of $20,00 for charity, and the longer this show airs, the more money is donated. Even if you don't want to watch, turn on the tv so it can be counted.
Other reality shows I like:
The Biggest Loser - inspiring
The Cake Boss - just plain fun and funny
America's Next Top Model - Tyra teaches and inspires
Project Runway - Fascinating creations
House flipping shows - educational since I'm trying to do that.
And my more guilty pleasures:
The EARLY Jon & Kate Plus 8 - Love those kids.
Real Housewives of Atlanta/Orange County - lived in both places - stupid, but captivating.
