Anyone who does not think that a vegan lifestyle would not reduce the starvation in our world needs more education. It takes roughly 5 pounds of grain to feed a cow as you get for each pound of beef!

veganism would be a better use of land and resources, but world hunger can only be eliminated when those in power release the reins a little and share some of the wealth. There is enough to solve world hunger now, but it is all in the hands of a slim minority of power-holders, If the resources were shared properly we would all have a little less, but enough, and the difference between rich and poor would be minor.

The meat industry is terrible for the planet and its benefits do not outweigh its costs. If you think otherwise, you need a much better education on this subject.
