It is for sure a human rights issue. When access to contraception is denied to women it is an attack on women's right to be in control of her body. There has been a long history of sterilizations, and corrupt abuse of power in regards to women's reproductive rights and choices. I find it puzzling why there has been such a scary regression with reproductive rights. What does this say about the health of our country and those who want to take this away from us? It doesn't look good to me. I want to feel good about my country of birth. I don't want to feel ashamed of it.
