Have suffered severe migraines most of my life but they seem to be hormone related or even triggered by stress.

I've had an occasional severe headache which may have been migraines but never the ocular migraine described here.

I started suffering from migraines a few years ago; maybe one every 3 or 4 months, and when I do, I need a darkened room with no sound. They're intense and I usually pass out from them, and wake up hours later.

Yes, unfortunately I've experienced migraines for most of my life. I've been hospitalised for them twice, as the migraine lasted for over a week and I was going crazy with pain. Not fun!
