Just hope there is a way to develop safer turbines. Nets would dramatically reduce wind power, so maybe forms of sonar or low energy electric fields may work to deter bats, birds and insects?

Bats. They need to be considered. This is another example of animal cruelty! They need to find a safer way to operate wind turbines.

We have to get safer turbines! Oil as a power source is very dangerous to the environment and to wildlife, so wind turbines are better, but they still have their flaws in taking up land space and being dangerous for bats (and probably birds, too). Developing safer turbines, as well as advocating solar use, is the key.
