I try and avoid pharmaceutical medication whenever I have a cold or anything else, as they're bad for your body and mind!

If you have a cold or are recovering from one, it’s okay to drink milk. But if it gives you the sensation that you have more phlegm or that your congestion is worse, switch to skim milk, tea or juiced fruits as fluid intake is important during an infection. The advice to "feed a cold, starve a fever" is as unfounded as the myth about milk intake.

I only have half & half in my coffee. I don't like that temporary phlegm when you get a cold.

I only use milk in my coffee. I never drink it by itself.
