Avatar is a grown-up version of Fern Gully. Both have a very good point to make. I would hope that people watched the special features on the dvd, to see why James Cameron made his version. The happy ending is that the Amazon river mega-dam proposed in Brazil has been canceled, saving the indigenous peoples and their lands!

To me it represented entertainment. Not a bad flick, by the way. NOT culturally significant in any way, just another not bad flick.

I was not a big fan. It was a little cheesy but it was a good popcorn movie but too long. It was furngully for adults at an excruciating 3 and a half hours
