I just went to the doctor this afternoon actually. He's a good doctor and I'm grateful I have insurance again thanks to the Affordable Care Act!

I live in Massachusetts.. We have everything from rural to major metropolitan options available. If you don't like the services you are getting, you have the luxury to go elsewhere.

I actually do, but only because I'm a nurse and work with physicians whom I'm personally close. I don't believe the general public experiences this in most places.

I live in over populated London. My Doctor's clinic is full of women with far too many kids, who seem to think of a weekly visit to the Doctor as their right. Meanwhile, I (Arthritis, painful allergies, Sciatica, possible Lupus, and other ailments I don't care to disclose) don't get listened to, and my appointment is over in 5mins. In January of this yr, I requested an MRI to see how much my discs have degenerated since my only MRI in July 2012. Doctor requested this, and I received my appointment last wk......for January 2016. I've had Morphine based medications that I have been taking for the past 3yrs and prescribed by Consultants at UCH, refused by a temp Doctor (without any reason)..had to wait 5 days for a prescription, and ended up in hospital on a drip with severe dehydration caused by constant vomiting and diarrhea. I was told that if my son had waited, 30-40mins longer to call an ambulance, I would have died. Btw, I'm 45, and have had Arthritis since my 20's, but only mentioned the pain to a Doctor when it became unbearable at the age of 39. My complaints were ignored for the first 3.5yrs, until I insisted upon an MRI. I could go on about other serious ailments I have suffered with that have been ignored/misdiagnosed by Doctors, (including a broken rib that almost pierced a lung) but think I've said enough! So, my answer is:NO, I DO NOT RECEIVE GOOD MEDICAL CARE!
