Often when schools face budget cuts, art and PE classes are first to suffer. Is this fair?

The arts and PE are essential for holistic learning development. We need them both!
If they don't have the money, what else can they cut?
Reading, writing and math are most important! The rest is frills.
I don't care.

Should we keep the math and dump music?

The arts and PE give children important skills for LIFE. They're just not "important" for the standardized testing that is ruining their educations.

PE does not NEED to be expensive. Neither does art. There are PLENTY of inexpensive, even free alternatives.
