Pros: it lets you know what is available maybe before your physician becomes aware of it as a possibilities for you.

Cons: Poorly researched, lying, flat out lying, about its effectiveness and side affects.

Many Drug companies have been charged for lying. But the cost was not nearly even compared to the profit they made from it.

It was a calculated cost by the drug company. The best case scenario for them is, simply, they won't get caught.
The second and still very good scenario is they get caught but not before making outrageous profits compared to the fine.

Only between midnight and 4 AM... further, there should Never be any on Care2.

The advertising will have no effect on your doctor prescribing a drug for you IF and ONLY IF you can trust your doctor to work in your benefit, not his own. So it becomes a waste of money that will end on it's own (ideally)

Yes as it tells you what is available but all meds should be researched and discussed with your physician regarding the pros and cons of its use.
