This one isn't actually ambiguous and could be classed as misguided. It's not whether you should use the same password for everything, but more accurately, whether the password you do use is obscure enough to be considered secure. To the average person who has a multitude of different passwords, unless you have an eidetic memory (able to memorize everything), you're going to have to write them down, OR keep a record of them in a document, which contradicts the whole idea of a safe and secure password. Then some systems require less "secure" passwords than others, or have a limitation on the digits you're allowed to key in.
