Working 4 ten hour days versus 5 eight hour days makes sense for many jobs. As a bonus, employees have a day off to schedule things such as doctor appointments, without missing any work.

Totally! With computers in every home, there's no reason anymore not to have 4-day workweeks. People would be a lot more rested and have more quality of life. Add a living wage for fast food workers, good health care and education for all and hell, we might even approach being human.

Possibly for some businesses, but for others that need to be staffed 24/7 (e.g. - hospitals, fire stations, etc.) that would not be feasible.

Depends how much driving they do when they don't have to go to work.
