In this day and age, I have to say - absolutely. If you are not a US citizen, and you want to come into our country, then you give up your inherent right to privacy. Which I'm not even sure other countries guarantee, and our Bill of Rights doesn't apply to non citizens, so therefore they have every right to search the laptop. It should be examined for drugs and explosives as well as any plans to commit acts of terrorism. This is the age we live in.
