Should McDonald's stop including toys in their Happy Meals?

Poll Results: 4,118 votes
Yes. The toys make unhealthy food more appealing to kids.
No. Kids will want fast food whether or not toys are included.
I'm not sure.

Hmmm ... I think I agree that kids will want it no matter if it has a toy come with it or not....I would be more apt to blame the little (or big) rectangle box most stare at everyday for making them want it, rather than the toy itself ......

no! Saying having a toy makes kids want fastfood is ridiculous, it may make them want a certain meal AT the fast food restaurant but not fast food itself. Getting a toy in my kids meal was a part of my childhood. Eventually I traded getting a toy in my meal for more food in my meal but it's still fast food. Fact is, most fast food places are cheaper than restaurants and that's why parents take their kids there. Getting a toy with your food is a bonus, but if there were no toy kids would still eat fast food, I mean have you tried Burger King's burgers? They're pretty damn good. McDonald's sweet tea? For those in the south who actually know what sweet tea is, It's great! Taco Bell's 5 layer burrito, regardless of what kind of meat it is, tastes like fantastic fake Mexican food. If it tastes good, is cheap, and convenient, kids and most people are going to eat it, that's just how I is.

Keep the toy !! I support McDonalds . Their efforts to help children and their families that are sick are quite admirable. There are so many people that want to blame McDonalds and other fast food chains for obesity. You can't do that and make sense at the same time. If you are the one that drives in orders food and consumes it How can you BLAME them for what you did.
