If it is a city-owned vending machine, Mr. Newsom (or Mr. Lee) can do what he wants.

If it's a vending machine on school property, I think he's doing the right thing.

If it is a rule that applies to ANY vending machine in San Francisco, that is not a helpful use of government power.
