I use my custom privacy settings when posting something I think all my friends need not see. I have even posted something after clicking I only want the one person to see. So many people have their settings to public so in that case they should expect repercussions. I don't think they should be fired unless what they said/done hurts their employer or is seen by thousands and it goes viral.
