Do you think it sends a negative message for President-elect Obama's children to attend an elite private school?

No, they should attend any school he sees fit.
Yes, Obama should entrust his children's education to our public school system.

No, it sends a message that the family takes education seriously and expects the girls to meet high standards.

The Obama family can't win, anyway. If Barack and Michelle Obama sent their daughters to a local public school they would be chastised for using the girls and the school as political props, not praised for sending a clear message about public schools.

There is also a security issue involved with the President's children, from nutcases foreign and domestic. I'd rather have them safe.
