Probably not. For 5 Christmas' in a row we bought potted Christmas trees to plant along the border of our property and start a tradition. Out of 5 years only one tree took. 4 died within 2-3 years. We sought professional help and were told they seldom did well being replanted because if the tree is a good size chances are the root ball isn't complete and some of the roots were trimmed to make a tidy ball which is deadly to evergreen trees. A six foot tree really needs a digger to dig and move to get the full root system. Need I say more?
