K-12 -- America's School Spirit Challenge

The school has a great PTA which consist of parents and school staff. The teachers are also incredible to the students. My daughter loves the school which I assume the emotion is share with all the other students.

The administration is VERY supportive of the Gifted and Talented and general students, and the PA is extremely active. The parents here ROCK!

Great teachers and Healthy Environment

It is with great honor to vote for P.S. 174 William Sidney Mount because of the incredibly dedicated, reliable, and competent staff that help our children grow in an extraordinary manner each and every day. The Principal Mrs. Karin Kelly, the assistant principal Cindy O'Connor, the parent coordinator Laura Hui, the teachers, and the rest of the staff have always offered us a caring, educational, and peaceful environment, and have always extended their courtesies to us in terms of having their doors open to the children and parents. I believe the school has always gone the extra mile for us by showing that they truly care for the children. My daughter loves going to the school and enjoys the classes offered to her. As parents we have seen how our children have grown and improved academically during the course of each school year.

The teachers and administration really care about the children and try very hard to get the parents involved.
