I love Vance because I can send my son there knowing that there is an amazing community committed to his best interest. The administration had fostered a sense of caring and community that is incredible. Vance nurtures kids and gives them a connection to the Earth with a large garden the kids plant, harvest and eat out of as well as a table at the local farmers' market. They compost in the cafeteria and are currently working on a water catchment system to use rain water to water the garden and teach kids about building a sustainable future. The teachers at Vance are top notch and bend over backwards to give kids a safe place to learn. We love Vance!
