K-12 -- America's Favorite School

This is an amazing school made up of junior/senior high school students who choose to leave there regular high school to major in one of nine majors offered here. The teachers and students have achieved many national awards. The progress over the two years of attendance is phenomenal.

Words cannot adequately describe all that the ASST is, and the profound effect this wonderful environment has upon our children. AAST students get a first rate education in a caring environment that allows them to be who they are providing they act responsibly and with respect for others. Administration, faculty and staff treat students (and parents too if they choose) like family. My child has blossomed and moved on to college and will excel because she had the privilege of attending the Academy for Arts, Science and Technology. It does what an educational institution should do and much more.

The best school in the universe!

The AAST is more than a school, its a family. I graduated from the AAST last year and I miss going there every single day. Not only does this amazing establishment have some great opportunities for young people to kick start their career and their college career but it's a place for anyone to find out who they really are. This school is more than just about teaching students academic skills, its about teaching them the life skills necessary to be an upstanding citizen in the community. The teachers go above and beyond what their job title calls for. The bond between students and teachers alike provides not only a great place to learn but one that everyone looks forward to going to every single day. I made some of my best adolescent memories at the AAST and I formed a family there that will never be forgotten. We proved this just recently when one of our AAST family members passed away in a car accident. We came together, graduates and current students, and it was like nothing had changed even though we had gone our separate ways.

i have never been to any other school that has made me feel the way the academy does. I graduated in 2009 but the friends that i made there are still the most important people in my life. I just got dont watching the senior ceremony on DVD and cried harder this time then i did then because i miss the academy and the teachers so much!

AAST is the best school i have ever seen they are always helping my granddaughter be the best she can be.

My son has loved attending the AAST & has grown academically in leaps and bounds. He has always had an idea of his future education and has been able to hone all of skills toward his goal. He is in the Pre-Engineering classes since being a Junior, now that he is a Senior he is still working towards Engineering and has his future well in hand. We have been so pleased at all he has done and how well the school has been able to assist with all of the Teachers.

The teachers and staff at the Academy support teaching and learning in a holistic approach, preparing students in career majors for a smooth transition to their next step in life. This includes an emphasis on 21st century skills. Students are supported in becoming independent learners, designers, critical thinkers, collaborators, and activists.
