Silver Leaf Monkeys or Silvered Langurs (presbytis cristata) are found throughout southeast Asia and often inhabit mangrove swamps. This curious individual was spotted in Bako national park in the Malaysian state of Sarawak in north-western Borneo. Silver Leaf Monkeys live in troops ranging in size from 10 to 40 individuals and feed on fruits and vegetation. Interestingly, young are covered in bright orange/brown fur and develop their adult silver/gray coat only when they reach maturity.
