"The Dragon is one of the symbols of our Chinese culture. It represents the creativity of Chinese art and reflects individual hopes and wishes. In ancient China, the dragon was the identity of the emperor. It symbolizes super power, uniqueness and originality. To me it is the exploration of my imagination. I started to draw dragons at the age of four. Dragons reflect the colorful world of my imagination. No one has ever seen a real dragon. It is alive in my heart. It grows up with me. It reminds me of the uniqueness of my motherland."- artist, Mona Chiu.
