These two Grizzly Bears (Ursus Arctos) are eating a salmon caught in the McNeil River in Alaska, USA. The Grizzly is usually yellowish brown to black in color, frequently with silver-tipped hairs which give the bear a grizzled appearance. A pronounced hump over the shoulders distinguishes the Grizzly from similar species. Grizzlies are the largest terrestrial carnivore, with males reaching 7 feet (210 cm) long and weighing as much as 1,700 lbs (770 kg).
