| Shot in my own back yard in Van Nuys, CA, this vibrant yellow/orange
rose was the genesis for the "Intimacy" series. In shooting these macro
images of flowers, I hoped to capture both the ephemeral as well as the
endless splendor in nature...a metaphor for the beauty in human
relationships which can also be fleeting and perennial at the same time.
The "Intimacy" flowers are perfect as a greeting card to convey emotion
and mirror the radiance in a blossoming or timeless romance or
friendship.
