It is always a treat to see a Jabiru, one the world's largest flying birds. These 'giant' storks occur from Central America, where they are now rare, down through South America east of the Andes. With their large bill, they feed on fishes, eels, and young caimans. This individual was photographed on a remote wilderness river in Guyana.
