In the Garden, smelling the roses!

Hi guys! Feel free to come in and chat about your garden, whether you have a window box or a huge lot of land....come and tell us what you are doing with it!

I have just finished making the rock garden under my cherry tree, only nettles were growing there and I am keeping some in my windlife area, but this looks much nicer. Unfortunately most of the plants have finished flowering now so it will be more impressive next year, but I thought you might like to see it.....

Thank you! I have only been in this house for a year and the garden was a bit of a challenge but I am glad that you like it

Have any of you got plans for the garden this year? It is still cold here and has been snowing this week but I am already getting excited and buying some seeds

I have some shady areas that did not do so well last year so I am going to try again and plant some more shade tolerant plants, I have got some hostas with verigated leaves to plant in, and I have seeds for native shade-tolerant wild flowers mostly with purple flowers which should look nice in those shady corners! I am going to make a patio planter on a table away from the slugs for my 'kitchen garden' with some grow-again lettuce that I can pick, rocket, basil and cherry tomatoes I cant wait to get started but there is about a month to go before I can start planting my seeds.

Anyone got any cool gardening tips or ideas for the next season? If so just go for it and let us know!!!

Love and daffodils...
