The Animals' Savior
"I looked at all the caged animals in the shelter...
the cast-offs of human society.
I saw in their eyes love and hope, fear and dread,
sadness and betrayal. And I was angry.
"God," I said, "this is terrible! Why don't you do something?"

God was silent for a moment and then He spoke softly.
"I have done something," He replied. "I created You."

About Me I am a very postive person and I choose to surround myself with positve people.I am a full time nursing student and I will graduate in December 2007.I also work full time and have an 11 year old daughter.I spend all of my free time spaying and neutering feral cats and educating the public about the importance of spay/neuter. I foster feral kittens, tame them down, and get them adopted into loving homes through a rescue group I volunteer with.I love what I do, it is the best feeling in the world to get these kittens into homes and off the streets.

Wild Fact About Me I talk a mile a minute and jump from topic to topic. Most people cannot keep up with me, so I really treasure the ones that can.:)
My Philosophy I believe that people are responsible for creating their own happiness. If you are not happy in your life, then make the changes you need to get happy. Surround yourself with the right people that well help you achieve your goals. My philosophy is, you get out of life, what you put into it.Everyone has struggles and obstacles to overcome.Nobody I know has had an "easy" life so to speak. But it is how you handle and respond to the obstacles in your life that will either make you or break you.Attitude is everything.
What Gives Me Hope When I see random acts of kindness either towards animals or people, it gives me hope that there is still some humanity left in this world.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by Where do I even start? First of all, I would provide free spay and neuter services for all people that need help financially to get it done. Next, I would toughen up all the bullsh*t slap on the wrist animal cruelty penalties for people that abuse animals.People that abuse animals should have the same things done to them as they did to the animals they hurt, and then have their arms cut off so they could do it again.
What/who changed my life and why The event that changed my life the most was finding my first feral cat colony in a Burger King parking lot.I couldn't just drive away from there knowing there were hungry cats out there having litter after litter of kittens.I ended up rescuing all those kittens and getting them adopted out through the rescue group I foster with. With the adult cats that were too feral to be adopted, I got them spayed and neutered and continue to feed them every day. Since then, feral cats have become my passion and I have gone on to spay and neuter more than 100 feral cats in the past 2-3 years. This all started with one small little feral cat colony that touched my heart.I decided to make a difference. :)
